Hello, my name is Sallie and I'm playing Lavendar Woburn, formerly Lavendar Mercy Brown in conjunct with Parvati Patil's character. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and my IM is BartyCrouchJr.
Name: Lavendar Woburn, formely known as Lavendar Mercy Brown.
Birthday: July 18th, Cancer.
Status: Unspeakable, head witch in the Department of Mysteries.
Familiar: A unicorn named Parvati that roams the forests of the Woburn estate, a Persian cat named Clara.
Weight: 105 lbs.
Overall Appearance: Shoulder-length brown hair, violet eyes, wears neat pastel skirt and sweater suits underneath her rose-colored Ministry robes. She wears matching no-perscription, rose cat's eye glasses to hide the exact shade of her eyes and the crow's feet which have formed from ten years of heartache. She wears a wedding ring and a sparkling emerald engagement ring on her left hand.
Personality: Lavendar lets herself be known around the office as a free-spirit, a pretty, cheery woman with a little girl's demeanor. They assume her to have been married to Dr. Ranlyn Woburn, PhD in Arithmancy, and once-known wizard doctor killed by Death Eater Crabbe, Sr. She promotes this idea by keeping his framed picture on her desk and saying daily that she'll be faithful to his memory. No one notices that her eyes grow cold with each retelling of the story. She is in charge of office birthday parties, outings, and promoting the general readjustment to normal life after the second Voldemort war.
Likes: Unicorns, afternoon tea, scones with jam and clotted cream, feminine women, D.H. Lawrence novels, gothic horror, office parties and gatherings, the Chudley Cannons, Tea and Sympathy in Manhattan, secret identities, bridge.
Dislikes: The charade she puts up to the outside world, boys, aurors, Parvati Patil, politics, impolite people, when men leave the toilet seat up.
Proper History: The daughter of Ministry wizard Bartholomew Brown and Lady Angela of Abingdon attended the esteemed Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991-1998. She graduated with high honors in Divination. She followed in her father's footsteps, being apprenticed to Arthur Weasley in the Ministry of Muggle Artifacts. She was taken into questioning in 2002 after seven wizards connected to Madame Lestrange abused the Muggle Protection Act, then went unpunished. Minister Brown vouched for the innocence of his pride and joy, then sent her to New York, away from the prying eyes of the Ministry. She spent five years taking her Masters degree in gothic novels. Ironically, she stayed in a flat in 16 Abingdon Square. In 2007, she returned to Oxfordshire and the Ministry. She received a unicorn as a present from her parents upon her engagement to Dr. Woburn. They married in 2008, and he died at the wand of Mr. Lestrange, whose original intent was to assassinate Lavendar. She was transferred to another department and currently lives in Wallingford Manor with her mother.
Personal History: While at Hogwarts, young Lavendar spent many hours in the Divination room where she developed a love for afternoon tea and scones. Under the all-seeing Eye of Professor Trelawney, she grew to love Parvati Patil while Professor Trelawney instructed them in the ways of female relations. During her fourth year, Seamus courted Lavendar, and out of curiosity (not to mention jealousy that Harry Potter and the Beauxbatons boy both spent more time with Parvati),Lavendar allowed him to penetrate her after the Yule Ball. Bored of such relations, Parvati and Lavendar immersed themselves in their young love until the end of their fifth year, when Lord Voldemort broke open the gates of Azkaban and released Madame Lestrange into the world. Madame Lestrange, the beautiful, experienced vixen preyed slowly upon Lavendar, seducing her over the course of the next two years. Lavendar began to distance herself from Parvati, who grew jealous. She aligned herself with Mme. Lestrange who used her to pass seven death eaters without charge of the MPA. Parvati found out about Mme. Lestranges relationship, went into hysterics, and came after Lavendar with a knife. She emerged unscathed, but Parvati vowed to avenge her loss upon Mme. Lestrange. In 2002, Patil found the whereabouts of the Lestranges, and went to have tea with Mme. Lestrange. Out of loyalty, the latter told Lavendar to flee the country without saying why.
For five years, Lavendar studied gothic novels and wondered why her one love would shun her, and the other seek her revenge maniacally.
On a deathbed visit to her father in 2006, Mme. Lestrange paid her one last visit. Parvati entered Lavendar's room in flagrante, almost killed her, but silently turned to find Auror Finnegan. Patil led Finnegan Sr. to Brown's sleeping quarters, wherein Mme. Lestrange played at threatening Lavendar's life. She was led back to Azkaban, while Brown returned to NY downtrodden. Once the second Voldemort war ended, she married the first bloke who would have a platonic marriage, that pouf Woburn. However, he was killed when Mr. Lestrange went after her in an angry rage. Once again, the Lestranges were reunited in Azkaban. Lavendar decided never to tell anyone about what really happened, but she still named her unicorn after her young love, to remind her of days that were, and the years that might have been.
